If I had to hone the passion of Thoughtful Resound down to one element, it’s that I love helping people realize their full potential. 

Everyone has experiences, skills, and passions that benefit their trajectory and others around them. So whether it’s guiding you to build a community, scaling a business, or becoming the best salesperson in your industry, it gives me joy to see you succeed.  

Over the past 15 years, I’ve led marketing and consultative sales for rapidly growing companies, engaged 150+ clients to achieve their business goals, and educated thousands through webinars, podcasts, conferences, e-learning courses, and beyond.

I thrive at the intersection of strategic marketing, consultative selling, and on-camera & in-person hosting. That’s given me incredible business experiences, and now I get to share that secret sauce with you.

What led me to this?

I spent the first part of my career in marketing, and among many things, it taught me the importance of having a story that matters to others. In the world of PR, it’s called being “newsworthy.” If what you share doesn’t benefit your audience, what’s the point? Starting out in marketing taught me that many companies are only a few steps away from becoming the go-to brand for their ideal customers. Oftentimes, great solutions are hidden behind the lack of great exposure. 

Then, I shifted my career to consultative sales. As I looked around the landscape, I quickly realized that chasing after cold leads looked much too reminiscent of folks who apply for hundreds of jobs without taking the time to develop network connections and set themselves apart from the pack. (I’m a big fan of networking and giving back to the community you want to work within - as I’ve personally seen how it results in career opportunities that find you.)

As I dove into my sales career, I knew I wanted to do it in a way that felt authentic to me. And that was through the lens of thought leadership. I started building a community by hosting fireside chats, guest speaking on podcasts, pitching webinars to industry associations, speaking at conferences, connecting with ideal clients, and spending time in the world of social selling. And the rest snowballed from there. 

This approach shifted my pipeline from primarily paid-advertisement-driven to primarily inbound-driven through thought leadership and national brand recognition. 95% of all leads came in the door after seeing my brand presence on LinkedIn, speaking opportunities, and conference conversations. It enabled the company to grow revenue by more than 100% year over year and swim upstream with increasingly higher partnership values. 

The most rewarding part? I was elevating the industry and equipping our current and future customers with insights that helped them scale their businesses—creating connections and friendships that were meaningful to me—and building the company along the way. 

Before this gets too sappy, the reality is that what you do as a key leader or salesperson matters to your company if it’s benefiting the business. And let me tell you, thought leadership is not just a fluffy concept. It’s a tangible strategy that enables you to provide insights to your ideal audience, elevate their knowledge, attract sales conversations, and drive revenue. 

Thought leadership is a powerful catalyst. It’s not simply sales or marketing—it’s the ability to create your own opportunities. 

With Thoughtful Resound, I’ve taken everything I’ve learned through generating millions of dollars in revenue and crafted a company that equips sales teams and key leaders to attract more clients and generate more revenue by making their customers’ problems both visible and solvable through thought leadership. 

In fact, the reason for the name “Thoughtful Resound” is my passion for creating a movement. I want to equip growing companies to purposefully and strategically create a presence that provides insights to their audience, attracts opportunities, and drives business growth. Put simply, create a brand that drives revenue.
